Very happy with my purchase of a 7 generation family tree template from Arden. She made changes that I requested to the template within a couple of hours and was very proactive with ensuring that everything worked. Printed the chart on the cardstock and it turned out great - the people at the print shop commented on how nice it looked. Very excited to be gifting to my father this Xmas!

I spent days looking at all the different templates, and finally decided on this 5 generation chart to give as a gift to a good friend. It was super easy to work with. It took me less than two hours to transfer all the info from her ancestry tree, and proof read 5 times! I then converted the pdf to a jpg, sent to walgreens to print. Was done in less than 30 minutes. Got a frame from Michaels ... done in a day! I LOVE THIS!!!

Ancestry, descendant and direct lineage charts are available. My templates are Adobe Acrobat PDF files that are easy to input your information. When you finished – save, print, frame and enjoy! Find the perfect chart or message me to customize a chart specifically for you.

- Figure out which size you want: 16”x20”, 18”x24”, 20”x30”, 24”x36”, A2
- Determine who the chart will be for - a couple or person
- Determine how many generations you want to show - ancestors and / or descendants
- If you find a size and layout that works for you but would like a different illustration, message me! I am happy to adjust any chart to work for your information.
- If you are wanting a descendant chart, message me with the number of people in each generation and I will figure out what format will work best.
- Purchase and download your chart through Etsy. Enter your text in Acrobat at your own pace, print, frame and enjoy!

- Use Adobe Acrobat on your computer (not browser) to make all text edits. Using other software is not recommended and can corrupt the PDF file. Do not edit in Preview.
- Click on any text field or TAB through the fields to enter your information.
- All text fields are fillable. All placeholder text can be edited.
- Each person’s entry has space for a name, birth / death dates and locations. You can format your information any way that works for you (e.g. dates could be Month 00, 0000 or 00/00/0000, etc).
- If no text is wanted in a box, just delete the placeholder text and nothing will appear. Family trees with empty text fields are normal and look great!
- The editable fields have a yellow background color that does not print. It is there to show you which fields you can edit.
- Background graphics, field placement, lines, colors, fonts are not editable. Contact me if you would like anything changed.

- Keep your pdf saved somewhere safe so you can add information or print other copies in the future. I will not have a copy of your personal genealogy chart.

- Send your finished PDF file to FedEx Office or a similar company. FedEx Office offers 16x20 "Poster printing" on matte white cardstock paper. The text and linework will turn out crisp! Shutterfly does not accept pdf files.
- DO NOT change this file to a jpeg or other image format. It will print blurry. If you need to print as a jpeg, you can email me your final PDF and I will save as a high resolution jpeg for you.
